Historic tourist attractions: the Palace Pagaruyung in Tanah Datar

Before discussing Tourism Pagaruyung Palace I will give a little history of Pagaruyung Kingdom and is part of the palace rajo nature, in the history of development of this palace has undergone refurbishment on a large scale, which once burned down in the early 18th century performed by the Dutch colonialists, then in renovations back resembles the original castle in 1976 but in 2007 the palace was re-experiencing catastrophic fires caused by lightning strikes.

The building consists of 11 gonjong, 72 milestones, and 3 floors. The exterior and the interior is equipped with a variety of carvings every shape and color engravings have a philosophy of history and culture of Minangkabau. While in the middle of the room showcased a variety of historical objects such as ceramics Pagaruyung royal heritage and various handicraft items from Minang. Interestingly, all the milestones that supported this building sloped are certainly somewhat at odds with the existing architectural theory but it does reduce the robustness of the building itself. Moreover, in the yard, the palace building is also equipped with building the mosque, "Rangkiang" (which serves as a place to store the harvest), as well as "tabuah" (to call the citizens).

By visiting this Pagaruyung Palace the tourists will get to know more closely the Minangkabau culture itself, Domains minangkabau many pituah and petitihnya one of which is a popular "Nature Takambang widened Guru", and many more. And symbols and carvings found in the Pagaruyuang palace has its own meaning is meaningless relationship niniak mamak to nephew, sociable people, etc. like carving Itiak Home Patang, kaluak Nails, etc. If you come here do not forget to taste the coffee Kawa who were still flat on the ground.
